"I was excited when I learned music would be incorporated in the preschool curriculum. But, I was thrilled with the outcome of Miss Kate’s weekly music class on my family outside of school. Miss Kate sings special songs with the students that connect them to their voice as well as their body through movements and instruments. My kids would come home eager to share the new songs and dances they learned at school. My four year old daughter sings every note and teaches me the words and movements so we can share that experience together. My one year old son would dance like no one was watching and explode with smiles and laughter while we sing! After a couple months of Miss Kate’s class, I have now witnessed the joy of him singing along with us as he has now found his voice. We often play “Miss Kate’s Music Class” at home! "
